Cookie Policy
1. What we use
Argus Protect uses only strictly necessary cookies: our own, to run the site and keep you signed in, and Cloudflare's, to protect it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. The cookies we set
access_token and refresh_token (HttpOnly, Secure) hold your session and let you stay signed in; auth is a small non-sensitive flag that tells the app a session exists. They are set only after you log in and are removed when you log out. Retention matches your session or “remember me” setting.
3. Cloudflare security cookies
Our pages sit behind Cloudflare, which may set its own cookies (for example cf_clearance and __cf_bm) when it runs a bot or challenge check. They are security controls, not advertising, and we do not read them.
4. Analytics
We do not run analytics or tracking today. If we ever add privacy-friendly, anonymous analytics, it will be off by default and will never run without your explicit consent. Your choice in the banner is stored in your browser only.
5. Managing your choices
Use the cookie banner to accept or deny non-essential cookies. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings - note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected].
